This
is the section of the series I couldn't wait to report.
I suppose it's because the model reminds me so much of Islands
of Adventure at Universal Orlando. Actually, the whole park
is already being compared by enthusiasts to Islands of Adventure.
Traveling down the main road, plenty of work was happing
all around us. We headed towards the front entrance where
much of the work already seems close to completion. I was
told that the exterior of the entire zone will be complete
around October. Looking at the area, it is easy to assume
such a feat.
Crews
were bustling about. Some still framing parts of the buildings,
others assembling the walls, and more work being done inside
several areas. This will surely be one giant photo opportunity
when you arrive.
As we
made our way around to the front of the main gate and ticket
booths, I was amazed at how much was actually completed.
You could almost sense it was very early in the morning
before the park's opening and the guests made there way
in. Most of the walkways are all in, with a few exceptions.
Palm trees line the entrance. Beds for landscaping are just
about ready for planting. And exteriors of the ticket booths
and front buildings are decked out. This would be the perfect
opportunity for plenty of photos and a quick virtual tour.
Despite the lack of key "Attractions" in the All
Access Entry Plaza, I'm anticipating its completion most
of all because of the theming which will be stunning.
I would
be time to head off to our final stop where the mammoth
signature coaster is waiting for "A Whole Lotta love"
