The final piece of the giant Gibson Guitar Icon has been put into place today. The guitar stands 70-feet tall and sits on a base which holds a 600-square-foot Gibson retail store. The entire structure stands 90 feet in the air. As crews attached the final piece, which will have neon lights for strings, also holds a few other surprises which should be part of the night-time fireworks show. As the final piece is put into place, CEO Steve Goodwin gives the project a well deserved "thumbs up".
