There's
a few more details to work out, but the coaster has started
testing. In fact, just before our tour began, we were told
that it was in the middle of testing. Unfortunately, we just
missed it. However, here's a nice shot of the knarled tree
hanging on the main hanger.

was bound to happen sooner or later. Thank God it was later.
The perimeter fence is going up around the park. Here we see
the new view looking in at Midnight Rider. We'll be taking
donations to rent a cherry picker shortly. Jerry Lewis is
on standby for a telethon.

We
were on-hand this morning as trucks brought in and unloaded
the first pieces of Midnight Rider's rails to the site. These
full-size photos and others are available in the Member's
Only section today. Will all the work going on around the
area of the coaster, it should be long before we start to
see the first pieces go up.

OK.
Here's a little update for everyone. It appears that support
beams for Midnight Rider have arrived on site. The dilemma
we have in this update is we're not 100% sure that the supports
are for Midnight Rider. Crews have been working feverishly
around Midnight Rider for the past few weeks and the support
beams are located right next to the area for the coaster.
However, we were officially advised by Hard Rock Park on June
20th, that the red track in the parking lot is for Maximum
RPM! which hasn't seen any activity that we've noticed in
quite a while. We'll classify this as Midnight Rider until
we can confirm.
If anyone
knows more, please let us know so we can properly report.
