The Malibu Beach Party is a campy through back to the 60's
beach blanket movies crossed with a mixture popular musics
from the all decades. The show focuses on Malibu Barbie who
takes center stage while three beach bums try to win her heart
and a date.

Construction Status: Renovation of Existing Structure
Update: March 15, 2008
The
pool is full and Malibu Beach Party is set to entertain. The
show will feature muscle heads and Beach babes. However, we
noticed a motorcycle painted on the side of one of the buildings,
so we wonder if they'll also be a motorcycle featured in the
show.

a quick revision of the detail work that started on February

pool for Malibu Beach Party is in and tile work is being done
around the perimeter.

A
dive platform for the Malibu Beach Party show is currently
getting a fresh coat of paint. We previous misreported that
this particular piece was for Reggae River Falls. We have
been advised that this was not on the scale model at the Backstage
Tour which contributed to our error.

For
those familiar with the location a covered seating area already
existed onsite. Currently, the structure is being renovated
and the pool for the dive show is now in place.

When viewing
the Malibu Beach Party show, try to sit in the center group
of bleacher seats, between the left aisle and just in from
the right aisle. Since this structure is only one of a few
pre-existing buildings, there are support columns around the
entire area which the show needs to work around. The performers
utilize the entire stage area, but any bit of the show which
takes place center stage will be blocked from view if you
are on the audience's right side. There are a couple of jokes
which are geared towards adults.
