The
crowds started to gather at 3pm for the last leg of the
Hard Rock Theme Park Concert tour at the site of the first
ever rock and roll theme park. The free concert, which
was open to the public, featured five musical groups which
kicked off at four in the afternoon and end around eleven.
A
special INVITATION ONLY section was open to about 200
guests who were treated to food and drink.
First
to take the stage with a loud bang, Black Glass Band,
played classic hits like Pour Some Sugar on Me, Sweet
Child of Mine, and a rock version of The Devil Went Down
to Georgia. With their sounds of heavy guitar and drums
engulfing the outdoor venue, the band instantly got the
crowds' heads rocking.
Next
up, from Pennsylvania, was the Paul Green School of Rock
All Stars. Music lovers were treated by this student fab
five with an awesome sound which many were blown away
by. Even Black Glass band member TK said to the band that
"Thanks to them, his daughter starts learning the
guitar tomorrow!"
A
crowd favorite was Led Zepagain. No, that's not a typo.
Led Zepagain a tribute band was hand picked by legendary
group Led Zeppelin to play at the event. The LA based
group played favorites including Stairway to Heaven.
Before
the main act, Georgia Satellites took part in the concert
with their hits, including Keep Your Hands to Yourself.
Topping
off the night, Sister Hazel rocked the park and served
as the feature performers. The group has been on tour
with the Hard Rock Theme Park to New York, Memphis and
other cities in between to promote the Theme Park's opening
and picked up plenty of hand selected memorabilia along
the way.
